GM Build Sheet by VIN

Free factory build sheet & window sticker for Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac & GMC.

  • Original GM factory data
  • Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac & GMC

GMBuildSheetVin.com is a free tool to pull a GM vehicle's factory build sheet or original window sticker by VIN — the RPO option codes, packages, trim, paint, and equipment it was built with — for Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC.

Where to find your VIN

Your VIN is a unique 17-character code. You can read it from any of these places — each gives the same number:

  • Base of the windshield, driver's side. Look at the lower-left corner of the glass from outside the car.
  • Driver's door-jamb sticker. Open the driver's door and check the frame.
  • Registration, insurance card, and title. Every ownership document carries the VIN.

Which GM vehicles are supported

The lookup covers GM's current brands — Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC. Enter the VIN and the tool retrieves the window sticker if one exists, or the RPO build sheet if it doesn't.

Coverage is best on model years where GM has the factory record on file; very old vehicles may not return data. There's no account, nothing to install, and every lookup is free.

How to look up your GM build sheet

Find your 17-character VIN, type it into the box at the top of this page, and select "Look Up Build Sheet."

The tool retrieves the original window sticker or build sheet — usually within a few seconds. If a window-sticker PDF exists you can view it inline and download a copy; otherwise the build sheet loads in its place with the RPO codes listed out.
