A window sticker is helpful for customer-facing option names, while the build sheet is usually more detailed. If they disagree, the vehicle-specific dealer equipment list can help connect the sales name to 4WT.

Check the production month as well as the model year. Mid-year changes are one reason two vehicles with the same badge can have different hardware or descriptions.

My experience has been positive, but the benefit depends on how the vehicle is used. I would treat 4WT as confirmation of the configuration, then evaluate whether that equipment matters for your driving.

I would start by checking the original build sheet and then compare the physical equipment on the vehicle. A sales or option code confirms the factory record, but it does not prove that every original component is still installed.

I have seen this on a similar Chevrolet Corvette. The basic description was correct, but one related feature was part of a separate package. I would not assume the code includes every item mentioned in marketing material.

The safest interpretation is the one tied to the exact VIN, model year, platform, and market. In general, 4WT matches “WT package, option level 4. This code identifies a factory option package; its exact contents may vary by model and model year” but the included hardware can vary between applications.
