I asked the parts department about 5PF on my 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, but they could not give a clear answer. The decoder lists “Wheels: 15 X 6.0, J, Aluminum, Design 4. This code identifies the factory wheel size, material, finish, design, or related wheel equipment” What vehicle details are needed to resolve the meaning correctly?

The dealer should be able to pull a VIN-specific equipment or parts record. Ask them to search by VIN rather than entering only the three-character code.

On these vehicles, similar descriptions can use different codes because of supplier changes or package combinations. The code itself is useful, but the VIN-specific parts catalog is better before ordering anything.
