I am comparing configurations and one vehicle includes 37U, described as “Primary exterior color: Medium Teal Blue Metallic. This code identifies the vehicle's factory-applied main exterior paint color” Owners who have it, would you consider it useful and would you look for it again?

If you are documenting the vehicle, save both the original wording and the readable explanation. That preserves the factory terminology while making the record understandable later.

My experience has been positive, but the benefit depends on how the vehicle is used. I would treat 37U as confirmation of the configuration, then evaluate whether that equipment matters for your driving.

Check the production month as well as the model year. Mid-year changes are one reason two vehicles with the same badge can have different hardware or descriptions.
